What I am looking for

I am seeking a life partner to untangle the remaining mysteries of this universe. For the last couple weeks, I have been working on one that is particularly close to home for me (across the street). My ideal partner is intuitive, sharing, and stake-out ready (have to hold your pee for upwards of 5 hour stretches). Preference will be given to those with experience using binoculars and shotgun microphones, but it is not a necessity.

My favourite mystery is

...staring me right in the face. You see, I live on 126th SW, across from the town’s infamous Rainbow Row: five houses in a line, each a different colour (in no particular order: yellow, gray, pink, blue, black) and housing a different eligible bachelor or bachelorette who each drive a different make of car. My problem? Those little vixens are constantly popping in and out of each other’s houses all day and night such that I have no idea where each of them actually live! My solution? Turn to love and find someone who can help me straighten out this mess.

You, potential match, will play a pivotal role in both loving me and adding to my growing gossip (intel) pile. Here is what I have so far:

• Seth lives directly beside the owner of a Volkswagen
• That Volkswagen is always parked directly to the left of the blue house
• After some light reading in the basement registry of town hall, I also can tell you that Seth lives directly beside the yellow house (however I wasn’t sure if I was holding the map upside down so I can’t tell you which side...)
• There is one house between the gray house (on its left) and the yellow house (on its right).
• By cross-referencing mapping techniques using advanced global imaging satellites, I can tell you that there are two houses between Olivia’s house (somewhere on the left) and the black house on the right.
• I’ve overheard gossip at the local bingo hall that there is only one house between Olivia and Eric.
• Olivia lives somewhere to the right of the BMW owner.
• DMV registration records confirm that Yolanda is the only member of the Row who drives a Toyota.
• There is only one house between the house with the Volvo parked in front and the gray house (yes, I know, “Rainbow Row” has a black and gray house...).
• And lord knows where either Nadia or the Ford fits into this whole mess.

Help me untangle this mess and sort these homeowners back into order and my heart is yours. Also, flowers wouldn’t hurt.
