My self-summary

Hi there. My name is Amelia and I am a retired aeronautical engineer. Ever since I was young, my hopes and dreams have always floated far above in the endless expanse. My mother used to always joke that my father must’ve been part bird (he wasn’t, just usual man man). I’m a Leo and I enjoy hiking, stargazing, reading, and staying in for a movie night with my Pomeranian, Astro. Between you and me? I joined Hatch.com in part to make my stepdaughter stop worrying about me.

My personal holiday

Nothing can succeed without failure. And we are nothing if we cannot learn from the past. On one day every year I remember that which we lost. Even my long-time friend, a retired birdwatcher, recognizes this holiday and instead of looking up to the skies for his little nuthatches, he just skips the day entirely.
